The costume is fully covered in small rhinestones, each one sewn on separately by hand. And in such a way that it creates a particular colour pattern.
Because the costume was to be used rather intensively on stage of the DNO - tumbling, rolling, etc. - it was essential that all the little stones were firmly secured.
